About the project

Heroes of the Storm saves each game as a replay file on your disk. Hots Stats reads those files, pulls out the statistics and keeps them in a dashboard, so you can see what works and what doesn't, hero by hero.

The work happens in two parts. A small Windows daemon watches the replay folder and sends new games. The website shows them. Nothing has to be typed in by hand.

Features

  • Automatic sync

The daemon runs in the tray, spots new replays and uploads them. A game you played shows up on the site a short while later.

  • Stats for every game

Damage, healing, hero played, result: each game gets its own page. The numbers compare from one game to the next, and from one hero to another.

  • Trends over time

A single game tells you little. The charts show how your results change week after week, and which heroes you play the most.

  • Private to your account

The daemon signs in with a personal token, and the site with a session. Only the extracted statistics go up to the server, never the replay file.

  • Updates without effort

The Windows installer updates itself from the versions published on GitHub.
