About the project
A system that makes videos for learning a language, from generating the words to publishing them. An AI suggests words and their translations from themes I set, then I sort each word by difficulty.
The voices are generated locally, and Remotion assembles the video. Publishing is automated, from the upload to the scheduling.
Features
-
Word generation
An AI produces a list of words and translations from a theme. The results are passed to a database managed by NestJS.
-
Word difficulty
Each word gets its difficulty level by hand, from a dedicated interface.
-
Voice generation
Each word is spoken by an AI voice running locally, with Coqui TTS. A reference audio file and a text are enough to produce the pronunciation.
-
Video generation
Remotion assembles an introduction, a theme, then words to guess, with rising difficulty. A 3D character reacts to each question and answer. A video takes a few minutes.
-
Automatic publishing
YouTube and TikTok restrict access to their upload APIs. So I wrote a Node.js script that uses Puppeteer to log in, upload, fill in the details and schedule the video.
